AUGUSTA, ME—The Board of Directors of United Way of Kennebec Valley (UWKV) is pleased to announce the appointment of Erin Fogg as the organization’s next President and Chief Executive Officer.
Fogg brings more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience in philanthropy, education, human services, communications, and community engagement. Throughout her career, she has helped mission-driven organizations expand their impact through strategic leadership, fundraising, partnership development, and community collaboration. Most recently, she served as Chief Advancement Officer at Kents Hill School and previously held senior leadership positions at the University of Maine at Augusta and Good Shepherd Food Bank.

Her experience bringing together donors, nonprofits, businesses, and community leaders makes her exceptionally well-positioned to lead UWKV into its next chapter of impact and growth.”
Fogg has lived in Kennebec County for more than a decade and has long been engaged with United Way’s mission as a donor, volunteer, and community supporter. She recently participated as a volunteer in UWKV’s Community Investment Process and is a graduate of the Kennebec Leadership Institute.
“United Way has the extraordinary ability to bring people together around our community’s greatest challenges and to create lasting positive impact,” said Fogg. “I am honored and humbled to have the opportunity to build on that legacy of collaboration while working alongside our Board of Directors, staff, donors, volunteers, and nonprofit partners to expand opportunities and help every person in Kennebec County thrive. After making this community my home more than a decade ago, I can’t imagine a greater privilege than serving the community where my family lives, works, and grows.”
During her eight years as Vice President of Development and Communications at Good Shepherd Food Bank, Fogg served on the executive leadership team and helped lead major statewide initiatives, including the landmark Campaign to End Hunger in Maine. She has also held leadership and fundraising roles with The Jackson Laboratory, Friends of Acadia, and other Maine nonprofit organizations. Her professional background reflects a deep commitment to advancing community well-being through collaboration, innovation, and philanthropy.
The Board also expressed its sincere appreciation to outgoing President & CEO Courtney Yeager for her decade of dedicated leadership and service to the Kennebec Valley community.
“Courtney’s leadership has left a lasting mark on United Way of Kennebec Valley and the many individuals, families, and nonprofit organizations we serve,” Vose said. “Under her guidance, UWKV strengthened its role as a trusted community partner, expanded its impact across the region, and remained steadfast in its mission to improve lives. We are deeply grateful for her commitment, vision, and the positive difference she has made throughout her tenure.”
As UWKV looks to the future, the Board is confident that Fogg’s extensive leadership experience, strong community connections, and commitment to collaborative problem-solving will help advance the organization’s mission of improving lives and building a stronger Kennebec Valley.
Fogg will assume her position on August 19, 2026.
