ALICE in Focus — Local insights and support strategies

Join us on December 4 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm via Zoom for “ALICE in Focus: Local Insights and Support Strategies.” This panel discussion will address the challenges faced by the growing ALICE population — households that are Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed — in Kennebec County.

Representatives from Central Maine Power, City of Augusta General Assistance, KVCAP, MaineHousing, and the Augusta Food Bank will offer firsthand insights into:

• The realities and needs emerging within our community
• Programs and strategies being implemented to assist ALICE households
• Where individuals can find resources and how others can support these efforts

This 90-minute conversation provides a unique opportunity to better understand the barriers ALICE families face and learn how organizations and residents can come together to create meaningful change.
