State & Government Employee Campaigns
Giving to United Way of Kennebec Valley through MSECCA or CFC
MAINE STATE EMPLOYEES CAMPAIGN
The Maine State Employees Combined Charitable Appeal (MSECCA) was established to create a single, coordinated campaign to encourage financial support for various charitable agencies from current and retired State employees. All donations through the MSECCA campaign are voluntary.
The Governor annually designates a Campaign Chairperson. Volunteers from each agency assist by answering questions from co-workers and encouraging participation in the campaign.
All MSECCA contributions and payroll deduction pledges are distributed by the campaign administrator quarterly to MSECCA charities in accordance with employee designations.
The 2018 Maine State Employees Combined Charitable Appeal is being administered by the United Way of Kennebec Valley. Please direct all questions to Wendy Beaudoin in our office at 207-626-3400.

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES CAMPAIGN
WHAT IS CFC?
The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the world's largest and most successful annual workplace charity campaign, with almost 200 CFC campaigns throughout the country and overseas raising millions of dollars each year. Pledges made by federal civilian, postal and military donors during the campaign season support eligible nonprofit organizations that provide health and human service benefits throughout the world. The Director of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) has designated responsibility for day-to-day management of the program to its CFC office.
