Norm Temple Community Volunteer Recipient - Jennifer Kidder
Congratulations, Jennifer Kidder from Bridging the Gap Center for Resources, Essentials Pantry & Clothing Bank (BTG) on being recognized as a recipient of the Norm Temple Community Volunteer Award! J
ennifer Kidder began volunteering at BTG in 2018 as a participant in the Building Bridges Volunteer Program and hasn't stopped since. Her consistency, positive attitude and creativity have been a tremendous gift over the years. Jennifer's primary volunteer role is running the Everyday Basic Essentials Hygiene Pantry on distribution days. She is a natural at organization and keeps the Pantry in impeccable shape even while she is packing dozens of incoming orders and entering data into the computer.
"I love volunteering because it gives me a sense of purpose and allows me to meet new people in the community," Jennifer said.
BTG is grateful for and proud of Jennifer! For two months, Jennifer was the only scheduled volunteer on-site as BTG quickly shifted and adapted to the reality of a pandemic. She helped BTG transition to and maintain the curbside model that is still in use for Everyday Basic Essentials. In addition, she took on the task of entering data into our client-tracking system which has been an enormous help.
Thank you, Jennifer!
