AUGUSTA COMMUNITY WARMING CENTER
The Warming Center, under new leadership, will be open from Dec. 1, 2017, to March 31, 2018
United Way of Kennebec Valley started the Augusta Community Warming Center in 2009 and managed its operation for eight seasons. In the fall of 2017, the Warming Center became a program of Bridging the Gap, a local community project. The money that you give to United Way helps support this effort, as Bridging the Gap is the newest partner program of United Way.
During the 2017-2018 season, the Augusta Community Warming Center will be open from Dec. 1 to March 31 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to those seeking a warm and safe escape from the cold. The program operates in the basement of 9 Pleasant Street in Augusta.
All questions regarding the Warming Center and donations to the program should be directed to Warming Center staff at 207-248-1782.
